Oh the laptop was only a little over $500, as for programs I just downloaded the usual... newest versions of iTunes, Firefox, Yahoo, Windows Live Messenger, plus all the updates, crap that would take hours and hours and days to do over dial up. I also bought a 4GB Cruzer Micro USB drive when I bought the laptop. I needed a new one. =/
But yeah, I'm happy to see that Photoshop CS2 works on Vista. :D That saves me a lot of trouble right there. I thought it was going to be all incompatible with everything lol, scared I wouldn't be able to make wonderful artz on my new machine right away. Got my tablet installed and everything, I downloaded the drivers for that a while ago actually because I use my tablet with my boss' laptop at work and she has Vista so yeah. I had that waaay ahead it.
nice, now all you have to do is slowly take over the minds of all the political leaders, and then the world will be happy :D

I have dial up at my house. :/ Updates were huuuuge, so I had to use highspeed somewhere... that's one of the only places that has it in this stupid town. The store across the street has WiFi, but it's not as fast and they're closed for a week while the family goes on vacation.
