Heh, I find old work I forgot about from time to time too. I actually have a box of these that I found, that I keep under my bed >.>; Some things I actually have redrawn, and will probably come back to it and do more to it in the future, as I progress in skill, and then hey, before you know it, you have something well done that you're really proud of.
I like this pose I think you should go for it, and edit it and other pics you found.

Yeah, the other hand was just a practice doodle on the side. I'm going through a bit of creative block right now, maybe now is the time to go through my old file case thingy to see if I can find any good sketches I can use as references for new drawings... =D

i had allot of drawings inspired my boris vallejo when i was 18 17...around 2003...but i moved and forgot all my drawings and books....when i went to see if they where still there....they were thrown out....maybe its cause i had them in a bag and unorganized....well i never drew for awhile and just did some sketches....i posted some on ngs.....then i started coping using references and wondering how the pros do this shit....blah blah blah....now i sketch on a regular basis

I'm too spoiled with CTRL+Z and the lasso select and free transform tools to get much done on paper. One mistake, and you have to erase something and redraw it, even if it does look perfect, but is out of proportion with the rest of the drawing. =/ I've always had trouble drawing things where I want them to go exactly on paper, too. They always end up on a strange spot, too low or too high... feh. I can never plan anything out and then draw it on paper, it's just whatever comes to me. If I think about drawing something, it never turns out. It's always a spur of the moment thing. Weird, eh?
